Recently, one of our customers relayed an interesting story with us. It seems he was buying our brace through a “mega” supplier rather than direct through us and that supplier switched him to another brace without his knowledge. Our shipping department noticed we had not drop-shipped anything for our customer and brought it to our attention. We contacted our customer and that is when the fun began. Apparently his mega supplier did not bother to tell him they were changing braces. Our customer still had the XBack brace on his website and his patients were expecting our brace but getting shipped the substitute brace. In a period of one month, he had 60 braces returned to him by the patients with a complaint that the brace they got was inferior and did nothing to help their condition. Initially thinking it was our brace, he was not happy to find out that it was a different brace the mega supplier had switched him to. LONG STORY SHORT, THEY ARE NOW A DIRECT DISTRIBUTOR OF XBACK BRACES AND NO LONGER DEAL WITH THE MEGA SUPPLIER AND OUR CUSTOMER’S PATIENTS ARE VERY HAPPY. If this has happened to you, dont hesitate to share your story with us. We can make you a distributor too.
